About

Hi, I'm Stephanie.

I’ve spent the past four years living and working in Tokyo, where I became my company's first Chief Communications Officer and inbound international assignee.

Working from the center of a traditional Japanese industrial company shaped how I think about alignment, trust and decision-making in a global organization. I lead teams responsible for brand, public relations, digital and social media, executive communications, reputation and crisis communications, and internal communications for 9,500 employees across the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

At its core, my work is about connecting business strategy to visible impact, helping ensure corporate actions are understood, aligned and trusted by stakeholders. In a global business, reputation is built by how leaders make decisions under pressure, and how clearly those decisions are explained. I partner closely with our CEO and executive team on enterprise narrative, transformation and risk, including crisis readiness, geopolitical issues and more.

As a member of the Page Society, I believe trust comes from consistency between what a company says and what it does. Building a global communications function inside a new cultural context has been challenging, humbling and deeply rewarding.

Outside of work, I’m a runner, hiker and traveler. Living and working in Japan has sharpened my judgment as a global leader — and given me a very well-used passport.

I share reflections on leadership, communications and life abroad on LinkedIn with more than 23,000 followers. I value thoughtful conversations with CEOs and senior leaders who see communications as a core business function and a trusted partner.
