Specialties

I bring deep expertise in nearly every facet of communications on a global scale, including corporate communications, internal communications, executive communications, crisis communications, public relations, communications strategy and more. I also bring experience in social media, content strategy and development, and CSR.

Some of my specialties are listed on the right.

Bridging Western and Eastern Cultures

Many Japanese companies want to expand their presence in the United States via acquisitions. Likewise, American companies may be looking to acquire Japanese companies. One major differentiator I can bring is the ability to help merge the cultures in post-merger integrations. The cultures are drastically different, requiring expertise to bridge the wide gap.

Global communications

I've spent 2.5 years working in Japan and have traveled to 30 countries, along with eight years working in global companies. These experiences have taught me a lot about different cultures, helping me communicate well with people from all backgrounds. I use what I've learned to create communications strategies and tactics. My goal is to connect with people across borders and make a real impact through clear, thoughtful communications that connect with the audience.

Executive communications

Making sure the CEO's message comes through clearly and powerfully takes skill, not luck. I work closely with the CEO to deliver key messages that matter to the company. I’m experienced in crafting clear, compelling stories that connect with a wide range of people, inside and outside the organization. My goal is to share the CEO’s vision in a way that aligns everyone and drives real engagement.

Manufacturing industry

With almost ten years in the manufacturing industry and a family background rooted in it—my father worked 47 years at a Caterpillar factory—this field has always been a natural fit for me. From growing up in a small town to working at major companies like Hitachi, my path shows my strong commitment to and deep understanding of manufacturing.
